I know some companies are taking the position that they will not accept cancellations in the event of an outbreak of Coronavirus.  But I understand your concerns over this issue and I am taking what I believe is a sensible and reasonable position should the worst happen.

In view of the current concerns, I have updated my booking terms as follows:

CANCELLATION
13. In the event that the client cancels the engagement, Magic Peter will make all reasonable efforts to agree a rearranged date within 60 days of the event date for the entertainment. In circumstances where a mutually acceptable rearranged date cannot be agreed, the client will be liable to pay cancellation charges as follows:
i) Cancellation of the event as a consequence of the venue being unavailable owing to Coronavirus or the client’s family being affected by Coronavirus: no cancellation charge.
ii) In other circumstances, including cancellation due to adverse weather, cancellation 14 days or more prior to the event date: 50% of performance fee less any deposit paid; cancellation made less than 14 days prior to the event date: 100% of performance fee, less any deposit paid.

Of course, these terms will apply to anyone who already has an event booked with me. Frankly, I don’t want to catch Coronavirus either!

In ALL circumstances, I will always do my best to reschedule your entertainment so that your celebration can go ahead.
